Captain Jason Briggs

Jason has been sailing on Lake Michigan for over thirty years. He and his wife Kate sail out of Anchorage Marina on a Cheoy Lee Offshore 38. Their dog Nova accompanies them on most voyages. Jason has crossed Lake Michigan to Wisconsin and Illinois numerous times. He has also taught his three children at a young age how to sail. Jason Works at UPS and helps train some of the safest drivers on the planet. He stresses safety on the water because all sailors know its not always sunny and fair weather; those are some of the most memorable times.

Captain Peter Ruiter

Peter has been sailing on Lake Michigan for over twelve years and doing charters and instruction for seven. He participates in the local Wednesday night races over the summer leading the local Sea Scout Crew on a locally made boat: a S2 10.3. When not instructing with GT Sailing, Peter works at the Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven and may be seen on his bike around Holland.
