We'd Love to Take You Sailing
Our passion at GT Sailing is sharing the sailing experience on Michigan’s scenic waters, even outside the ‘classroom’. We believe that living next to the Great Lakes is a treasured privilege, which we must treat with great respect. That’s why our primary goal is to get as many people out on the water as possible. As sailors, we love experiencing the Great Lakes, and we know that you’ll love them too.
Preparing for Your Sailing Charter
Groups of up to six passengers are welcome aboard our charters. All of our sailing charters are private party, meaning that only our captain, yourself, and your guests will be on board. We also welcome children aged 6+ on all of our voyages.
Our most popular voyage is a 3-hour cruise from Lake Macatawak to Lake Michigan. For this charter, the cost is $400 for the first five passengers, and an additional $50 charge for a sixth person. Of course, we’re always open to scheduling something tailored to you, and we invite you to contact us about destination voyages and bareboat charters.
Whatever journey you choose, we recommend that you bring:
- Suntan lotion
- Layered clothing
- A hat and sunglasses
- Non-marking shoes or boating shoes
- Food, drinks, and/or alcoholic beverages
