Why You Should Charter This Fall
Considering something fun to do with your family, some friends, or yourself as summer wraps up? At GT Sailing, we’re eager and excited to share our passion for sailing with you and your group on one of our scenic charter rides!
Living close to the great lakes is a privilege in any season, which is why our primary goal is to get as many people out on the water as possible. As sailors, we love experiencing the Great Lakes, and we know that you’ll love them too.
There are plenty of reasons to charter, but here’s why you should charter with us at GT Sailing!
Sailing is Our Passion
Our passion at GT Sailing is sharing the sailing experience on Michigan’s beautiful waters, even outside the ‘classroom’. Our team of experienced captains have been sailing Lake Michigan and beyond for decades. Every member of our crew has a demonstrated love for sailing, and we’re always excited to share that passion with you.
There’s no better way to experience a charter sail than with someone who is deeply involved with the process and can make your time feel special.
Flexibility and Versatility
This fall, we have many openings available for solo or group charter outings. With two amazing choices for vessels, and three incredibly talented sailors, you’ll know that your journey on Lake Michigan will be uniquely yours.
Adventure with up to a group of six passengers where your only worry will be finishing all the snacks and drinks you brought along. Of course, that’s if you’re able to take your gaze off the Lake Michigan views.
If you’re a first-time sailor, we recommend our most popular voyage, which is a 3-hour cruise from Lake Macatawa to Lake Michigan. We have other voyage options and even bare boat charters for the really adventurous types. For more information on those please visit our contact page.
An Experience You Won’t Forget
Sailing on Lake Michigan is often described as an unforgettable experience, offering a unique blend of relaxation and excitement against the backdrop of stunning natural beauty. The lake’s size and diverse features, from calm bays to boisterous open waters, provide a variety of sailing opportunities.
